Reiki means universal energy, or spiritual energy, or it can be also translated as inner brightness. Anyway, translation is not the most important, but its use or application. Human beings, as every other living being, are energy channels. By adding consciousness, the quality of the flowing energy changes and it is capable to transform the environment, the people, and the details. Reiki is a tool that helps us to transform ourselves and our environment. It is basically a healing technique that uses hands on body (at the aura level) to balance the energy by synchronizing the chakras.
